That’s it for this week. Keep an eye on deadlines and make sure you apply as soon as possible if something catches your interest. Until next time, take care and keep pushing forward.

Remote PEs: apply same day; show AREMA/FRA 213 examples with P6 or AutoCAD rail alignments. eCFR :: 49 CFR Part 213 -- Track Safety Standards.

I got faster responses on remote PE roles when I put my NCEES Record link in my resume header and referenced the posting title in the email subject: Records Program | NCEES. Small caveat: some carriers still want an in-state PE or proof you can get “RWP within 2 weeks,” so call that out up front.

One tweak that helped me was attaching a 1-page “remote deliverables sampler” with a P6 fragnet for a turnout renewal, a Civil 3D alignment redline, and a note tying geometry tolerances to 49 CFR 213 — showing the toolbox, not just the business card. Small caveat: even “remote” listings often expect 10–20% site time and current RWP, so I state my travel window up front. Also co-sign @ryan_tho40; my NCEES Record link sits beside that sampler in the header.
