Catching heat for securement time

Anyone else getting nudged to shave securement checks to make the slot? On the 22:10 out of Pasco we had 18 centerbeams and 12 plate-steel flats; I held us 9 minutes to re-tension three binders and swap a frayed strap, and got an earful — even though one shifted bay would turn into a recrew and hours of delay.
