In my experience, holding quick huddles before shifts really helps reinforce safety protocols. It only takes about 10 minutes, but it sets the tone and reminds everyone of what’s expected. Plus, it gives the crew a chance to ask questions and discuss any concerns.
One thing that really worked for us was implementing a buddy system during shifts. Having a partner to check in with on safety measures can make a big difference — especially right after those updates last quarter.
