New scheduling software implementation

Recently, we’ve started rolling out a new scheduling software at our station aimed at optimizing train operations. Early feedback has highlighted its potential to enhance on-time performance, but I’m curious if anyone else has experience with similar tools. Any insights on best practices or challenges would be appreciated, especially related to adapting crew schedules.

I’ve found that when we started using similar software, having open lines of communication with the crew really helped smooth out scheduling hiccups — like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole! Making sure everyone knows their roles and any adjustments up front can ease that adaptation process. @TrainmasterTim always emphasizes teamwork, and it really pays off.

It’s great to hear about the new software! In my experience, involving the crew early on can really help identify scheduling conflicts before they become headaches. Like trying to fit a round peg in a square hole — it’s much easier when everyone has a say. @tjackson21 mentioned communication being key, and I totally agree.
