Tips for Checking Engine Fuel Injectors

I was working on a locomotive last week and had to diagnose a fuel injector issue. It’s crazy how often these can be overlooked during routine maintenance. A quick way to test them is to use a multimeter to check the resistance; a reading outside the 12–16 ohm range usually indicates a problem. Anyone else have tips or tricks for diagnosing injector issues?
