We started keeping a spare cab key in a combo lockbox inside the nose and keeping the code with the yardmaster — saved a 06:20 launch when our hogger did the same. If your rules hate hide-a-keys, stash the spare at the shanty and add a “keys check” line to the pre-stage brief — think that’d fly on your property?
