When trains take too long at the station

Ever notice how waiting for a train can feel like a lifetime — last month, we had a crew sitting idle while we waiting on a late freight for over an hour. The punchline? When it finally arrived, it was just a load of concrete. Sometimes I think they enjoy watching us squirm.

An hour is brutal! I guess at least that concrete’s useful somewhere, right? Ever thought about how many snacks you could bring on a long wait? :pizza:.

Concrete for an hour? That’s rough! I’d be packing a picnic at that point.

Waiting’s the worst, right? I once sat for over an hour for a train that was just carrying gravel! What do you think the crew was doing the whole time? :joy:.
